Minecraft MCMMO Servers

MCMMO is a plugin that brings RPG-style skill progression to Minecraft servers. It adds a wide range of different skills that players can level up to unlock valuable bonuses and powerful abilities.

For example, mining ore earns XP and increases your mining skill, with rare ores like diamond giving more XP than common ores like iron or coal. As your mining level increases, your chance of receiving double drops when mining also increases. You can eventually unlock the Super Breaker ability, which lets you instantly mine blocks for short bursts of time.

Archery is another skill that can be trained - you earn XP by doing damage to mobs or other players with your bow, and the higher your archery level the more deadly your arrows become. Even simple tasks like chopping trees can be levelled up: with the woodcutting skill, breaking logs earns XP, and you can unlock the Tree Feller ability to bring down entire trees with one hit.

Each server configures skills and progression slightly differently, but overall MCMMO is a great addition to Minecraft that makes ordinary gameplay much more engaging. There's also a competitive element, since the plugin includes leaderboards showing the top players on the server in each different skill.
