Thalassa is an experimental anarchy server that protects certain historical landmarks and points of interest. The main goal of the server is to see what happens when you create an environment that encourages players to actually explore the map and interact with each other, versus the traditional experience of aimlessly wandering through ruins, only to wind up having the same routine experience as always: "single player with chat". Historical Landmarks are designated only when a base or monument has reached several years in age, or becomes a very significant point of interest on the server. as time goes on, historical designations will be made less and less often. Thalassa aims to recreate a (mostly) vanilla environment and traditional gameplay style. Meaning there are NO /warps /home commands or anything of the sort.
The server runs in version 1.19 (mostly to avoid the implementation of the social interactions/chat reporting feature) but will more than likely be updated in the future when absolutely necessary.
